On the Trail of the Celestial Rocks: Eleawen’s Account

By Eleawen, journalist for the Arche Terre Gazette

Mur County Center – It was under a sky heavy with foreboding that I joined, this morning, a group of adventurers as eclectic as they were intrepid. Our mission? To investigate the mysterious rocks that fell from the sky, those extraterrestrial formations rumored to harbor the dreaded Raveners.

Our team was nothing short of unusual: a sharp-eyed mage, a priestess clad in nothing but a beast’s hide, a white wolf with the bearing of a silent guardian, and a goblin warrior whose blade seemed as keen as her gaze. A caravan of wagons carried us northward, toward the famed Epsilon Black 9 laboratory, a place already marked by the Hive’s dark activities.

After a meticulous check of our equipment, we set out to explore these hostile lands. The perpetual, biting blizzard quickly reminded us of the region’s dangers. We came across a garrison of Lomidar and Sambrune soldiers, frozen by the cold, their armor coated in frost. Their faces bore a silent resignation in the face of the environment’s hostility.

Then, we found it: one of those cursed rocks. The Raveners, creatures as fierce as they were relentless, awaited us. The battle was brutal but victorious. Just as we thought we could finally study the formation up close, a group of Sambrune joined us. A heated discussion ensued. What to do with the rock? Despite the obvious risks, despite the blizzard lashing at our faces, the decision was made to leave it where it stood. Indeed, there was nothing there to sustain us—no food, only the deadly cold.

Exhausted but satisfied, we returned to the city, to warmth, with new adventures already on our minds. One thing is certain: the mysteries of Arche Terre are far from exhausted.
