In the year 2025, on the 29th day of November, a pivotal chapter in the history of Durakiss was inscribed. On that day, Alak Averruncus-Maeviir was united in marriage with the reigning sovereign, Her Majesty Queen Jula Marin.

Following the voluntary withdrawal of the former king, who chose to relinquish the constraints of the crown in favor of personal freedom, Alak Averruncus-Maeviir was duly crowned King of Durakiss. Thus began a new era, defined not by succession alone, but by the convergence of vision, knowledge, and shared authority.
The royal couple has since governed in close collaboration, their rule distinguished by an active and sustained engagement in matters concerning the Consortium, as well as the diverse peoples and creatures connected to its sphere of influence.

Among these are the Gazette of Archeterre and a radio network, both of which rely upon adapted technologies originating from the Consortium, most notably the enigmatic device known as the “intercom.” Together, these initiatives have strengthened the bonds between the cities and nations of Archeterre, fostering exchange not only of goods, but of knowledge, culture, and dialogue. |
