Mur Village freed from the Consortium
Another turning point in the war: Mur Village is no longer occupied by the Consortium. A raid orchestrated by Durakiss managed to repell the invaders.
Durakiss always had a history of hiring mercenaries for their battles. Several blades-for-hire, including the Firemane Pack, were employed for a surprise attack on Mur Village in order to prevent the Consortium to reinforce their position some more. As the group stormed the Village, the durakian forces were airdropped from a flying ship: The Revelation. Those combined efforts succesfully put an end to the occupation of Mur Village by the Consortium, with Durakiss soldiers remaining stationned for the time being.
Regarding the situation in Mur Village, the crown of Durakiss gave that statement to the journal: « As the Consortium forces were spreading all over Archeterre, from Mur Village to Mur Harbor and Doomwoods, the durakian army, with the help of mercenaries, took back Mur Village. A garrison will stay to prevent another Consortium occupation of Mur Village. As long as the war is ongoing, Mur Village will be under the protection of the Durakiss army or any allied force if required by Duchess Ravenhair. To be clear: Mur Village is still owned by Duchess Ravenhair, we won’t interfere in any civil affair. We, the Crown, asked allowance to the Duchess but she took too much time to decide what she wanted, so the war did not wait for her, and we had to act against the Consortium. »
If the situation in Mur Village has changed a lot in the last few weeks, and might very well change in the near future, it is to be noted than the Consortium forces are still present in Arche-Terre, and skirmishes have already been reported in Mur Harbor. We recommand to anyone willing to travel through that area to be cautious.
