Since two days as this article is written, Arche-Terre is subjected to another threat that could very well change the situation all over the land drastically.

Odd structures in the form of singular domes, roughly the size of a tent, have appeared around the land. Witnesses have felt an unstoppable urge to touch these domes whenever they went close to them. The range of this effect has been believed to be around ten meters, though an official confirmation of the extent of this influence has not been confirmed.

Whenever someone touches one of the domes, the effect is immediate: that person will suffer from mental deterioration, including but not limited to; a limitation in their speech ability, difficulties in forming coherent thoughts, and a very strong sense of hunger. That hunger can lead an afflicted person to act in a hostile manner toward those who are not under this same influence.

Physical alterations are noticeable too: their skin turns gray, patches of their flesh becoming necrotic, and their eyes turn vitreous. All those symptoms could describe a state much feared by most: zombiism..

Luckily, a cure was swiftly found: a removal of curses managed to heal the infected, though it is not know yet if there is any lasting effect, nor if said cure will work in the future.

Although it is not recommended to come into close proximity of these domes, it is possible to destroy them by conventional means, and it was reported that they are not particularly sturdy.

What’s more, an entity that appeared to be a female humanoid has been witnessed near one of the domes, but wasn’t affected by it. When law enforcements officers of Durakiss attempted to apprehend her, she vanished..

So far, these domes have been spotted in the Pinewood Forest, near Dellbrooke Crossroad and even in the courtyard of Castle Eagleview in Durakiss, but it is expected than many more could appear in the coming days. Of course, suspicions have arisen that we’re facing a new weapon from the Consortium, being tested on the population, but this cannot be confirmed as of yet.

The Crown of Durakiss recommends not to approach these domes if you would ever find one, and to look for a priest if you end up touched by their influence. A crisis moot in Durakiss is planned this Sunday, in Castle Eagleview.
